Alachua County Wage Theft Protection Ordinance in Effect

Alachua County's Wage Theft Protection Ordinance, which was passed in April with a 3 to 2 vote, went into effect Jan. 1. Unpaid and underpaid employees who have sought to resolve issues with their employers can file an official complaint.
